About
Mwow! I’m Pookie, AKA The Pook, Pook, Pooka. I’m a 3 year old male silver-grey tabby cat, and the star of this book of illustrated witty haiku and its soon to be released sequel, Postcards Fom Hawaii: This Hairball’s For You! I hope you enjoy this blog of my interests, musings, activities, and philosophy. You can find out a bit more about me in the July 23 “Who is Pookie” posting. You can find out more about the book and the authors by clicking the “Book info” link in the blogroll. Then, if you’re interested in the book, you can email my staff by clicking the “address for book inquiries” link. Books are $18.75, with 20% of the sales going to benefit Roice-Hurst (You can check out their link in the blogroll, too!). I came from Roice-Hurst, and as a socially responsible kitty, I like to give back.

Hey, you little dork!
What’s new? I finally had a chance to read your blog while Mom’s napping and I can access the internet on her computer! What a riot.
I love Kitty Hoots toys, too. The last time Mom went away for a few days, she bought me a new one. It’s a pink fishie (salmon?) with a little green polka-dotted worm attached by a black cord. The worm has a big goofy smile on his face. Wonder what’s so funny?
Well, by all means, keep up the blog posts, Pook. I’ve been working on my own diary about when Mom raised those little Siamese intruders for several weeks. I didn’t approve of the “foster kittens” but I wasn’t even consulted before they arrived, puking and mewling… disgusting! They drove me nuts.
I’ll write again when the coast is clear and I can get to the computer.
Love from California,
Your Cousin Sunny
